Aue here goes - what popped into my head was probably a bit woo-woo lol
I instantly saw Maui the unborn child following Hine everywhere. And when she is struggling he gives her tohu that she doesn’t always see. Sometimes the tohu lead her to something she needs and others are love notes. She might never figure out he is there too. You can stop rolling your eyes now ha it’s just what I pictured 🤷🏻♀️
