thank you Echo...gosh miss your Papa too. He was such an important part of my life as I first ventured into Kaupapa Maori services...and beyond. And he kept telling me he was going to adpot my dog Atawhai, who I must have taken into work one time...Lol.

'Ko nga waka' was Whaea Suzies waiata tautoko yesterday and i wondered why it isnt really sung any more. It was our main chant back in the day :) Brings back memories of Uncle Bill Hohepa....
